Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Tableau Developer with strong expertise in Tableau dashboard development and exposure to Tableau Next. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing interactive dashboards, developing data visualizations, optimizing reports, and translating business requirements into actionable insights. Experience with Tableau Next and modern analytics capabilities is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Develop complex calculated fields, parameters, filters, sets, table calculations, and Level of Detail (LOD) expressions.
• Connect and integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, data warehouses, and cloud platforms.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting and analytical requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Tableau workbooks, published data sources, extracts, and refresh schedules.
• Optimize dashboard performance, data retrieval, and visualization usability.
• Work with Tableau Next capabilities to support modern analytics workflows and business intelligence use cases.
• Support data preparation, data modeling, and data quality validation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable analytics solutions.
• Provide documentation, end-user training, and ongoing dashboard support.

Required Skills

• Overall 5+ years of hands-on Tableau development experience.
• At least 6+ months of hands-on experience with Tableau Next.
• Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and dashboard development.
• Advanced knowledge of Tableau calculations, LOD expressions, parameters, filters, and table calculations.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and query optimization.
• Experience with data integration, data modeling, and data visualization best practices.
• Knowledge of dashboard performance optimization and data refresh management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong Tableau development experience with the ability to independently deliver end-to-end BI solutions.
• Practical exposure to Tableau Next beyond theoretical knowledge.
• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into scalable, user-friendly dashboards.
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting and working with business stakeholders.
