Position : Solution Architect - Cloud and Data EngineeringLocation : Pune/Nagpur/Chennai/BengaluruType of Employment : Full-TimePurpose of the Position : Responsible to engage with clients in advisory and consulting, advance solutions, support presales as a solution architect, build capabilities, drive research and experimentation and nurture talent in cloud and data engineering.Key Result Areas and Activities : - Engage with clients, delivery and market- Architect solutions and coordinate their implementation- Lead and support opportunities- Guide research and experiments to address unmet needs- Build and reuse knowledge and expertise- Nurture and grow talentEssential Skills : - Experience in D&A domain specifically in cloud data technologies- Experience in solution design, architecture and implementation of modern hybrid or multi-cloud data analytics solutions- Demonstrable presales and solutioning experience in conducting workshops, building proposals- Proficiency in D&A stack of one or more hyperscaler platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP and modern data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks- Demonstrable thought leadership through blogs, white papers and presentations in D&A events- In-depth and hands on experience on data modeling, data organization and data engineering on cloud.- Diverse D&A experiences including green field implementations, data modernization, D&A migrations from on-premise to cloud and development of full stack data products- Experience of designing and implementing domain driven architecture, data mesh and data fabric architectural patternsDesirable Skills : - Well versed with data management practices such as data quality management, data cataloging and data governance in hybrid and multi-cloud environments- Well versed in DataOps automation using custom or cloud native services on hyperscaler platforms- Well versed with DevSecOps considerations for cloud first data analytics solutions- Sound understanding of cloud infrastructure provision, data observability and Cloud FinOps- Demonstrable advisory and consulting experiences for strategic D&A initiatives- Experience in evaluating and comparing multiple cloud data technology choices and making right-fit recommendations in the client context- Working knowledge of frameworks like TOGAF, DAMAQualifications : - At least 14+ years of experience in data analytics with focus on cloud data technologies- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)- Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods.Qualities : - Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes for a fast growing team.- Able to communicate persuasively through speaking, writing, and client presentations.- Able to consult, write, and present persuasively- Able to work in a self-organized and cross-functional team- Able to iterate based on new information, peer reviews, and feedback.- Able to work with teams and clients in different time zones.- Research focused mindset (ref:hirist.tech) .
