Role Description

The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for overseeing daily operations across manufacturing, service, and repair activities. This position coordinates workflow, resource allocation, and scheduling to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of bolting systems, valves, manifolds, and BOP repair services. The Operations Manager monitors performance metrics, implements process improvements, and ensures adherence to API and safety standards while collaborating closely with engineering, quality, and sales teams. The role includes supervising and mentoring operations staff, managing vendor and customer interactions, and supporting cost control and inventory management. The Operations Manager also contributes to strategic planning, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong operations management and leadership skills, including team supervision, workflow planning, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess expertise in oilfield equipment and services, particularly valves, pressure control equipment, manifolds, and BOP repair or well control systems.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with industry standards and quality systems, ideally including API Q1, 6A, 16C, 20E, and 16AR, as well as safety and compliance practices.
• Candidates should possess skills in process improvement, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks.
• Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers.
• Candidates should possess sound organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related technical field is preferred; relevant experience in oil and gas operations may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Experience in on-site operations, industrial safety practices, and use of basic office and ERP software tools is beneficial.
