About the role
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Python DBA with strong expertise in Python scripting and SQL/NoSQL databases . The candidate will be responsible for database administration, automation, performance optimization, and ensuring availability and reliability of database systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases
- Develop Python scripts for database automation and monitoring
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization
- Manage backups, recovery, replication, and high availability
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams
- Monitor database health and performance
- Maintain documentation and best practices
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Database Administration
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
- Strong understanding of indexing, schema design, and performance tuning
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
