Managed end-to-end ethanol production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous plant performance. Monitored and optimized fermentation, distillation, dehydration, and ethanol recovery processes to maximize yield and product quality. Controlled process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, pH, and steam consumption for stable operations. Coordinated with production, quality, maintenance, and utility teams to achieve production targets. Ensured compliance with product quality standards and statutory environmental and safety regulations. Optimized raw material consumption (molasses, grain, or feedstock), enzymes, yeast, and chemicals to improve process efficiency. Supervised the operation and maintenance of utilities, including boilers, cooling towers, RO plant, ETP, air compressors, and steam systems. Monitored utility consumption and implemented energy conservation and cost-reduction initiatives. Conducted process troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve productivity. Managed preventive and predictive maintenance activities for process equipment, including fermenters, distillation columns, heat exchangers, pumps, centrifuges, and storage tanks. Oversaw effluent treatment operations and ensured compliance with pollution control board norms and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) requirements, where applicable. Implemented SOPs, GMP, and EHS practices to maintain safe and efficient plant operations. Performed process optimization using production data and KPIs to improve ethanol yield, reduce losses, and enhance operational efficiency. Coordinated with OEMs, vendors, and contractors for equipment maintenance, upgrades, and project execution. Prepared daily production reports, utility reports, inventory reports, and MIS for management review.
