As an Azure AI Engineer - Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving software and product innovation within our Technology Consulting practice. You will focus on developing innovative software solutions that enhance business performance and deliver exceptional user experiences. As a Manager, you will leverage your leadership skills to motivate, develop, and inspire your team to deliver quality work. You will be responsible for coaching team members, managing performance, and identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will partner with team leadership to validate collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables. Responsibilities - Leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation - Managing and mentoring teams to enhance their skills in software engineering and product innovation - Designing, coding, and testing applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C# - Overseeing the integration of enterprise applications and confirming seamless functionality across platforms - Utilizing API management and microservices to optimize application performance and scalability - Conducting code reviews and implementing coding standards to maintain quality software development - Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications - Implementing continuous integration and delivery practices to streamline software development processes - Engaging in strategic planning and execution to align software projects with business objectives - Encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance software development practices What You Must Have - At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 8 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required What Sets You Apart - Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering - Demonstrating proficiency in Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) - Utilizing advanced skills in Python, Java, and JavaScript for software development - Excelling in strategic planning and execution for client engagement projects - Embracing technology and innovation to enhance project deliverables - Mentoring junior staff to develop their skills and performance - Analyzing complex systems to identify opportunities for improvement
