Job Description & Summary
The best workforce thinking starts with someone who can see around corners — connecting business strategy, market shifts, and the way work itself is changing into choices that move an organisation forward. As a Workforce Strategy Senior Manager at PwC, you'll bring your strategic workforce planning expertise and commercial acumen to shape the future workforce for our Advisory business, based in Sydney / Gadigal or Melbourne / Naarm. You'll partner closely with senior leaders to translate business strategy, client demand and AI disruption into clear workforce scenarios, priorities and action.
Why PwC?

Join a global community of more than 370,000 people who value bold ideas, collaboration, and lasting change. Together, we’re building trust and shaping the future.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the Workforce Strategy partner for Advisory, developing a deep understanding of business strategy, client demand, financial drivers and the changing nature of work to identify future workforce priorities and choices.
- Lead Strategic Workforce Planning for Advisory, translating business strategy, market demand and AI disruption into future workforce scenarios and a 3–5-year workforce strategy and plan.
- Assess the implications for the size, shape, skills, location and composition of the workforce, identifying key gaps, risks and opportunities and shaping appropriate build, buy, borrow, bot and bridge responses.
- Partner with Advisory leaders to identify opportunities to redesign work, roles, teams and workforce models, drawing on specialist capability from across the Future Workforce CoE where required.
- Translate workforce priorities into a clear, prioritised roadmap, connecting agreed actions across workforce transformation, skills, career pathways, workforce intelligence and other relevant people initiatives.
- Bring together workforce, financial and demand intelligence to provide Advisory leaders with clear insights, recommendations and choices that support workforce and business decision-making.
- Partner across PP&C, Finance, Operations and the broader Future Workforce CoE to mobilise agreed priorities, embed them into business planning and monitor progress as workforce requirements evolve.
