KeyResponsibilities Design,develop,test,deploy,andmaintainSSISpackagesforenterpriseETLanddataintegration. DevelopETLsolutionstoextract,transform,andloaddatafrommultiplesourcesystems. SupportandenhanceexistingSSISinterfacesandintegrations. TroubleshootSSISpackagefailures,dataissues,andproductionincidents. DevelopandoptimizecomplexSQLqueries,storedprocedures,functions,views,anddatabaseobjects. IntegratedatafromSQLServer,Oracle,flatfiles,CSV/Excelfiles,andSFTPlocations. Implementerrorhandling,logging,auditing,notifications,andrestart/recoverymechanisms. ScheduleandmonitorSSISjobsusingSQLServerAgent. PerformSSISpackageandSQLqueryperformancetuningforhigh-volumedataprocessing. Conductimpactanalysis,effortestimation,codereviews,andtechnicaldocumentation. Supportdeploymentsacrossdevelopment,UAT,andproductionenvironments. ProvideL2/L3productionsupport,root-causeanalysis,andpermanentfixesforrecurringissues. Collaboratewithfunctionalteams,applicationteams,DBAs,andbusinessstakeholders. Mentorjuniordevelopersandprovidetechnicalguidancewhenrequired.
MandatoryTechnicalSkills 7–9yearsofoverallITexperiencewithstronghands-onexpertiseinSSISandSQLServer. StrongexperienceinETLdevelopment,dataintegration,anddatamigration. AdvancedknowledgeofT-SQLandMicrosoftSQLServer. Experiencewithstoredprocedures,functions,views,joins,indexing,queryoptimization,andperformancetuning. Hands-onexperiencewithSSIScomponents: DataFlowTasksandControlFlowTasks Lookup,Merge,andConditionalSplit DerivedColumnandExecuteSQLTask ScriptTaskandFileSystemTask KnowledgeofSSISconfigurations,parameters,variables,connectionmanagers,anddeploymentmodels. Experienceimplementinglogging,exceptionhandling,auditcontrols,andfailure/restartmechanisms. ExperiencewithSQLServerAgentjobsandscheduling. Strongtroubleshooting,root-causeanalysis,andproductionsupportexperience.
PreferredSkills SSISintegrationwithOracleandheterogeneousdatasources. SFTPandautomatedfile-basedintegrations. Git,AzureDevOps,orothersource-controlandCI/CDtools. ExposuretoAzureDataFactory(ADF). Agile/Scrumdeliveryexperience. KnowledgeofITILprocesses,includingIncident,Problem,andChangeManagement.
