Kitchen Steward

Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, cookware, dishes, and equipment. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, work surfaces, and storage areas. Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Collect, separate, and dispose of kitchen waste according to hygiene procedures. Ensure adequate availability of clean utensils, plates, glasses, and kitchen equipment. Assist kitchen staff with basic preparation and cleaning tasks when required. Keep dishwashing and sanitation areas organized and hygienic. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety guidelines. Assist with receiving, moving, and storing kitchen supplies. Clean refrigerators, freezers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment as assigned. Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor. Support kitchen staff during busy service periods. Maintain proper storage and organization of cleaning supplies. Follow hotel, restaurant, or organization policies and procedures. Perform other kitchen support duties assigned by the supervisor. .
